Working with Intercultural Relationships

A one-day in-person CPD workshop

Date & Time: Saturday 8th November 2025, 9.30 am - 4.30 pm.

Facilitator: Rajan Rai
Venue: Nottingham City.

About this workshop:

This workshop will support those working with couples therapeutically to celebrate difference and address stigma experienced by intercultural couples. The workshop is suitable for those with experience of couples work wanting to widen their knowledge-base to include working with diverse couples and build on theories of couples work as this relates to intercultural relationships.

Nearly 1 in 10 people (9% or 2.3 million) who were living as part of a couple were in an inter-ethnic relationship in England and Wales in 2011. This has increased from 7% in 2001* so knowledge of the unique experience of intercultural couples is increasingly paramount.

Fees:

£100- SPTI Members

£110 - Non-Members
